Planned
Spontaneity
As Wave Riders
we are prone to making spontaneous decisions and fight
for our right to do so, however when we make these decisions
on the upper wave we often fail. Learn how to have fun
with Planned Spontaneity.

Today's Gentle Reminder

Clash of
the Wave Riders
Wave Riders commonly attract other Wave Riders. We usually
enjoy being around high-energy people like ourselves and
we can find encouragement from other optimistic Wave Riders
.
Wave Riders
have a tendency to believe that we can do whatever it
is that we want in this world and usually have interesting
stories about exotic ports and faraway places.
I love Wave
Riders, but I also use caution. I try to avoid being with
a Wave Rider that is on a "high" at the same
time as me...A fellow Wave Rider, unless they really understand
Wave Riding, will add fuel to the upper ride making it
double or triple itself in strength. A Wave Rider that
is simultaneously up will support our ideas and will agree
that we should sell everything that we own and move to
Tahiti, or that we should quit our job and become a professional
singer. A Wave Rider that is up at the same time will
make our struggle to come to the middle difficult if not
impossible.
It is not that
these ideas are right or wrong for us just that we should
not be deciding on an up ride and the Wave Rider in this
situation is being pushed up
further. The extra energy is not helping us to come back
to the middle. It is an exhaustive process to observe
two Wave Riders and to participate in this
high energy dance. Riders pushing their high energy out
from themselves and it can create a tumultuous flow of
energy that does not create but simply churns leaving
a somewhat nauseous feeling of motion sickness when the
encounter ends.
Enjoy each
other but be wise to the level of your energy wave ride
and be aware of the energy that you are pushing out to
the world.

Sharing time:
Our greatest
power is the power to choose. We can decide where we are,
what we do, and what we think. No one can take the power
to choose away from us. It is ours alone. We can do what
we want to do. We can be who we want to be.
You are searching
for the magic key that will unlock the door to the source
of power; and yet you have the key in your own hands,
and you may make use of it the moment you learn to control
your thoughts."

Hill (1883-1970)

There are many
readers out there that have a great story to tell about
how they have handled difficult times or how others have
inspired them. Many are working through The Wave Riders
steps and improving their lives. We all have our times
when we find it difficult and we all have our little successes.
Here readers share comments and/or stories that may inspire
other readers. This month I wanted to
share a note that I recently received. Thank you for your
kind words!
