(PI55) Clear Intentions: Don't confuse your Short Order Cook

Why is it that our clear intentions seem to attract an array of distractions?
It seems that once we have made our intention clear and we
feel the determination way down in our bellies, we tap into some
form of universal energy. I have witnessed universal energy in action.
Take for example the common knowledge amongst gardeners,
that as soon as a plant's soil is dry it will enter a weakened
state and attract bugs that will begin to destroy it.
The plant is not sick yet, it is, in a weakened state and the bugs come.
How do they know to come? If we shout we are weak,
will nature begin knocking us down? If we shout we are strong and
we deserve to be here, will nature support us?
I believe it will.
What if we say... "today I am strong", then next day we say,
"today I am weak"...what if we say..."today I want it" and tomorrow we
say..."nah, I don't really want it", are we confusing the universe?
By announcing our clear intentions we begin to announce our strengths
instead of our weaknessess, and by the common laws of nature the
message that we are ready to be tested, to determine how strong we really are is sent out.
How well we rid ourselves of the distractions may determine how well we have
conquered our current lesson, and how determined we are to make our changes.
I have noticed that these tests come in many forms and most commonly they appear
as opportunities. These opportunities will undoubtedly be off of our chosen path,
and it will be our choice to remain on the path or steer off into a totally different direction.
Neither choice will be right, neither choice will be wrong.
Each choice will offer different lessons, insights and open doors.
What do we choose? Perhaps, we will have to say no, because in our
gut we know the opportunity, though wonderous, it is not for us.
Perhaps, we will have to say yes, because this opportunity has opened
our eyes to new information that we did not have before and now our gut tells
us this is so right!
It is a good idea that we check that we are not about to make a choice based on fear.
Often, fear appears when we commit to change. Usually three things will begin
to happen, once we have committed with intensity, to altering our lifestyle.
- Your determination creates an energy wave that attracts opportunity to you in support of your goal.
- Fear will rise to tell you all the reasons you cannot do this and must do something else.
- Distractions will arise that will take you off the path to your goal. These distractions will likely look like opportunities.
Fear would like to tell us, that we would miss out if we do not jump on these opportunities. We need to remember that when we stick to our goals, that more opportunities will show up. We need to stay in Spirit. By in Spirit I mean in
YOUR Spirit - what is right for you. You will know what is right by how it feels.
In Spirit choices are not found in tension, frustration, anger and fear.
In Spirit choices meet with your chosen lifestyle, your honesty and your moral values.
We all deserve opportunities and we should learn to expect them, however we are often taught to "grab this one before it gets away".
Successful people expect that the world will rise up to meet with their expectations!
Successful people believe there is no other choice but to succeed and to be given opportunities.
It is universal spirit in motion.
Their strong belief system sends a message to all they come in contact with, and just like
the bugs arrive out of nowhere to the plant in a weakened state, success arrive to the believer.
Somehow people arrive in our lives to assist us in obtaining that which we desire.
(You don't have to believe me on this one, you can test it for yourself. The only one rule is
that you feel an INTENSE determination, not just a thought or a desire.)
Somehow, not just people appear, but finances that we were not expecting show up and new knowledge arrives.
When we doubt our intentions it becomes similar to sending out a lunch order to a short order
cook that changes every moment. "I think today I will have a salad, on second thought,
I think I will have a double heaping of cherry riple ice cream." or perhaps we state
"Please, please make me rich...on second thought, will I have to work hard for that?"
Yes, I'll have this - No, I won't, - Yes, I will" and so on and so on. Perhaps it is our actions
more than our thoughts that create the uncertainty. Why do we, in one moment, pray for acceptance and then turn to judge
others around us? Do we want acceptance to work for ourselves only?
If we do not get our order straight with sincere conviction, the short order cook will
finally dazed and confused, give up and go home.
The messages we send out when we doubt, are not clear enough to get our order right
and so, nothing shows up! Our determination must be strong enough to put into action
the energy wave that brings to us what we need to succeed.
We must make our orders clear and believe intensely that we deserve our order and that we can achieve our dreams.
I love the statement from astronaut, Neil Armstrong, he said "landing on the moon was the work of many people who just did not know it could "not" be done."
How true! Can you imagine the intention it must have taken, for scientists to continue to
believe that they could put a man on the moon?
Inventors need to live in a reality where they are not limited by current world perceptions.
Their reality must be one of "I believe it can be done!" How else would the TV be invented?
Who would have ever believed it?
If an inventor cannot believe, with conviction, he/she would stop before they get started.
We must be ready to believe in the reality that we desire not as a possibility but as our
reality. We must believe that there is no other way.
We cannot pretend.
We must believe with fierce determination in this thing we want to do.
We must believe that it can and will happen, if it is in our best interest
for the lessons that we must learn.
We must believe that we will achieve our dream, but also be willing
to not achieve it, if it is for our greater good.
This is where faith comes in.
If you follow your inner sense of knowing what is right for you
and you keep heading in that very direction and it doesn't work out,
accept that the universe has intervend an has your best interest at heart.
You maybe headed in the wrong direction, and a slight or even major altering of your
course may be in order. You will not be able to see why, for perhaps a very long
time, and maybe you will never know, but still you need to trust.
For now believe that it can be done and watch the universe send you support,
energy and resources that you may not have perceived of before. Once our intention
is clear, we cannot start doubting. Doubt is fear and not faith!
Doubt and fear may have created our current situation.
If we continue to choose doubt and fear - the outcome will have the same result.
We cannot keep up with the same old habits and expect a different outcome.
The universe is still a mystery and the brain is still a mystery.
We cannot possibly know, for sure, that something cannot be done or cannot exist.
We cannot know who we might have been had we chosen previously without fear.
When we change our Perception - we change our Possibilities - the we change our Reality.
Ask yourself, "What is your current belief system?",
"What limitations have you already imposed? "
Successful people believe;
- If you desire it...
- If you can visualize it...
- If you can persevere ...
Success is inevitable!
Our clear intent, our belief that it can be done, opens the doors to new solutions
and a New World, that always existed, but outside of our vision.
By stating our clear intention,
we have chosen to open the door to this New World and all
of the opportunities that may be beyond our current and wildest imagination.
These opportunities are waiting for someone to use them. They are lying there,
growing, expanding, and waiting to be chosen.
Not all of these opportunities will meet our criteria.
It is important that we remember that we will not be left out
or left behind by not choosing any given opportunity.
Our clear intention prevents confusion and helps us to prepare.
Though we need to be focused we also need to be flexible in our pursuits as new information arrives.
Arriving at the door to your New World unprepared is like arriving at the airport with empty
suitcases and no known destination. If you don't have some idea of where you are going you
won't know what to pack and you could end up in Alaska freezing cold, or Africa boiling hot.
You also do not want to arrive at the airport with stubborn ideas that you will only fly one
airline; after all they may not go where you want to go.
New opportunities may be so foreign to us that our plans for past goals could not have
included these thoughts.
We may have never considered these opportunities as possible before.
We need to allow the new information to flow and we need to keep checking our spiritual meter
to see if the new information fits.
As we grow in our awareness, our desires may change.
We may have never considered being a pilot before because it seemed impossible
and yet now the opportunity is here.
We have to be able to adjust our course.
New opportunities flood our world as soon as we begin to walk on our new path.
They are not tests from the heavens or wrong and right opportunities. They are just opportunities. We must consciously choose the right one for us. Some of the most beautiful or brightest opportunities may be the ones we need to avoid or the ones we need to take.
How will you know? Make your own decisions.
Use words like "Let me consider the opportunity, and I will get back to you" and give yourself time to feel the opportunity out.
Take time to study the opportunity and visualize how it feels to do the job.
How does it feel to make the move?
How does it feel to get into the relationship?
How will I feel doing this every day?
We need to find the opportunities that excite us in a way that keeps the eternal energy running.
It is the only way to success because it is the only way that we have enough energy to
get ourselves where we want to go.
If we accept an opportunity because it is a smart decision that
pays well, instead of one that is right for us,
we will soon wonder why we cannot succeed as our energy is drained.
Spirit based opportunities will increase our energy - fear based opportunities will drain us!
Once we have studied the opportunity, know that we then need to put it down for a
day or two and let our excitement subside. We need to see if the opportunity has intrigued us
because it would sound good when we tell our friends or because in our
heart it is what we want to do.
Only we will know what is right. We are the ones with the ability, the tools and the resources!
Far too often we take on jobs, relationships and lifestyles because we thought
it was what we were "supposed" to do.
We now know that our dreams are powered internally and not by other people's thoughts.
We do know what to do...
We make our "order to the universe" clear.
Good luck with your hopes and dreams!
Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts with you today!
