These assignments are based on the book "The Wave Riders" (order here), and it does help if you have already read the book. Don't worry if you have not as you will find a lot of good information here that may help.

Assignment 5
Everyone I know is busy. The information age and new technology was supposed to make our lives easier but instead we seem to be working longer and running everywhere we go. Days, weeks, years go by and we cannot account for where our time has gone. In this assignment we are going to take a look at first, what you consider to be important in your life. Is it time with family? Starting a new business or career? Time to think? Time to excersize? Are you getting the time you need?

We are going to look at how you balance where you place your energy. Is it all about work? Is it all about self? Is it all about everyone and everything else but not you?

We are going to compare: where you are placing your energy and where you want to place your energy, so that we can start to make a plan to create the balanced life that we would like to life. When your balance chart is complete and you are able to live your life in this balance...peace comes much easier.

Please print out either the word.doc or the pdf file (see instructions below if you are not sure how to view these files) and complete the steps in this assignment. Please feel free to send these assignments onto anyone that you think could use the help. Email me if you have any problems downloading the charts. There are 7 pages to this assignment as I have given you sample information (altered for sample purposes) along with the blank charts to make your own charts.
